Self-care is crucial for maintaining good mental health and overall well-being. Here are some tips to help you prioritize taking care of yourself: make time for relaxation, exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet and get enough sleep Remember, taking care of yourself is not selfish, it necessary for a happy and healthy life.
Self Care Practices
Here are some Self-Care tips that are Beaux approved :)
1. Journaling - You can find prompts regularly on our instagram
2. Exercise - A great way to both stay healthy and increase those endorphins and serotonin levels.
3. Eating and drinking well - Yes, we hear it everywhere all the time, but food and water are the fuel of the body, and what you're putting into your body is going to affect how it functions and if it runs smoothly.
4. Going Outside - Going outside is super beneficial for almost every system of the body. Whether it's walking, running, biking, or any other motion your body is benefiting tremendously.
5. Practicing a hobby - Learning a new hobby or practicing one that brings joy is such a great way to practice self care. Some of our favourites are, scrapbooking, cooking, drawing and painting, and so much more.
6. Self check-in - This may be tricky for some people, but checking in on what is bringing positivity into your life and what isn't, and moving forward with what is beneficial to you and your existence.
7. A reset - Whether that's cleaning your living space, or doing some skincare and a spa night, or a groceery restock... it's whatever feels best for YOU and what you feel your body would benefit from.
